TOPIC: THE BLESSING: AN OBSTACLE BREAKER07 MAY

SCRIPTURE: And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing: And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed.

Genesis 12:2-3.
It has been confirmed that the Blessing is a powerful tool for the fulfilment of destiny.

One of the benefits of the blessing is the empowerment of the blessed to exist as barrier breakers, obstacle crossers, limit breakers and territory takers.

Look at this: Before Adam was created, there was no man on earth. So, Adam broke a barrier, crossed an obstacle, and broke a limit, to take charge of a territory, a whole planet. Adam was able to do all these because he was empowered by the Blessing. God created him and blessed him (Gen. 1:26, 28).

When Noah came out of the Ark, God didn’t give him money. What God gave Noah was the Blessing (Gen. 9:1). God seemed to have told Noah, “I have blessed you. Therefore, break all limits and barriers.”

When God wanted to raise a new generation of humanity, He called Abraham and what He gave Abraham was not money or material things, but the Blessing (Genesis 12:2-3).

Abraham was the first person in his family to break barriers; he went to the place his father could not go. His father, Terah, planned to go to Canaan, but he died in the land of Haran (Genesis 11:30, 31).

Terah had three sons; Nahor, Abram, and Haran who was the father of Lot.

Haran died before his father, Terah. In the family of Terah, there was a trinity of calamity: starting without finishing, living without relevance and dying before time. That trinity of calamity was in existence in Abraham’s family before the Blessing came on him.

So, God seemed to have told Abraham, “By the Blessing I have released on you, I have moved you beyond where your family has been.”

Today, by the Power of the Blessing, you are moving beyond where your father had reached in life, in Jesus’ Name.

Beloved, today I urge you to Study the life of Abraham closely and ask God to do for you what He did for Abraham.

Make demands on God for the release of the blessing on your life.

PRAYER: Thank You Lord for the provision of the Blessing which is a powerful tool for my destiny fulfilment. I ask that You release the Blessing on my life Lord, in Jesus’ Name.
