“The Apology Should Be As Loud As The Disgrace”- Daniel Regha Comments On Dunamis Church Drama

The social media has been recently divided over a recent happening at the Dunamis International Gospel center involving the Lead pastor of the church, Pastor Paul Eneche and Miss Anyim Vera.

Recall that Miss Anyim Vera came out to testify in church on Sunday, April 14, 2024. She revealed that she was grateful to God for successfully graduating from the National Open University of Nigeria (Noun) and bagging a B. SC in law. However, during this testimony, the lead Pastor of the church, Pastor Paul Eneche abruptly stopped the woman and confronted her by accusing her of lying that she studied law due to the way she struggled to speak English. He also pointed out that there is nothing like B. SC in law, but rather LLB.

This act caused controversy on social media, as the pastor of the church has come under fire and immense criticism for disgracing the woman on such a huge platform. Many were also quick to point out that the woman actually studied law by bringing out a proof of where she posted her certificate on Facebook a day before she shared her testimony. Many have called for the pastor to tender a genuine apology to the woman.

In light of this, a controversial social media critic and celebrity tormentor, Daniel Regha has decided to give his take on the issue between Pastor Paul Eneche and Miss Anyim Vera. He revealed that the pastor should make sure that he apologizes properly to Miss Anyim Vera during the next Sunday service, though he commended the church effort in tendering an apology on social media.

He took to the popular microblogging platform X formerly known as Twitter to tweet his view. He wrote;

“Pastor Paul Enenche also needs to address the issue when next he climbs the pulpit, & apologize to the NOUN lady properly; The church has released a statement which is commendable, but the apology should be loud as the disrespect, (in the presence of the same crowd). Cos if that lady hadn't graduated or posted pics, he mightn't have owned up to his mistake.”
