Police Launch Rescue Operation As Gunmen Abduct Chief Imam Of Kogi State Community
Abducted Sheikh Quasim Musa (Chief Imam of Iyara in the Ijumu Local Government Area, Kogi State)
Kogi State Police Command has confirmed the abduction of Sheikh Quasim Musa Chief Imam of Iyara in the Ijumu Local Government Area, by gunmen suspected to be kidnappers.
It was learnt that Musa was kidnapped on Monday night outside his house in Ilukpa, Iyara headquarters of the Ijumu Local Government Area by gunmen who invaded the area and started shooting sporadically before taking their victim away to an unknown destination.
According to reports, a family source said they are yet to get any information from the kidnappers.
