"Stop Restricting People From Defecting To APC, there Is Enough Room", Ebonyi APC Chairman

The Chairman of All Progressive Congress, Ebonyi state, Chief Staley Okoro Emegha has urged party faithfuls to stop restricting people from defecting to APC as that will help to stabilize the party and governance in the state.

Emegha made this known while receiving former People's Democratic Party, PDP, House of representatives candidate for Ishielu/ Ezza north federal constituency, Obinna Nwachukwu who defected to the All Progressives Congress, APC .

He said that one party system will bring in rapid transformation and development to the state and the governor will concentrate all his efforts towards bringing democratic dividends to the citizens with little or no distractions.

The Chairman urged all politicians and citizens in the state to set aside their political differences and focus on building a stronger and more prosperous future for the state.

He assured that the decampees would be accommodated in the affairs of the Party and the State, adding that the Party would continue to receive those who want to join the APC for a united and prosperous State.

"A unified political front would foster stability, continuity, and accelerated development.

'Do not restrict people from coming to APC, don't segregate. Tell them let everybody come let us come together. The house is more than enough to carry all of us", he stated.

Earlier, Hon. Obinna Nwachukwu applauded governor Nwifuru for his dedication towards improving infrastructure, healthcare, education, and other key sectors in Ebonyi State, adding that Nwifuru's vision and leadership style is the best in the south east region.

Nwachukwu however, expressed gratitude to the APC Chairman for receiving him and his supporters into the party. He emphasized the importance of unity and collaboration in achieving the shared goal of a better Ebonyi State, and urged all stakeholders to work together towards that common objective.

" My defection sends ripples through Ebonyi State's political landscape, it remains to be seen how this my move will impact the upcoming elections and the overall dynamics of the state's governance.

" Am watching to see how this development will shape the political landscape in the state in the days and months ahead"
